Travel Vaccinations
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse 3 – 4 weeks before the intended travel. She will need to know which countries are areas within the country you are visiting, to determine which vaccinations are required. All travel vaccines which are allowed on the National Health Service will be administered free of charge. The practice does not provide vaccinations which are not allowed on the National Health Service but will guide you where they may obtained. Certification of vaccination is not included in the NHS contract and you will be charged for this service. There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below:

Non NHS Services
Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. The practice fully complies with competition regulations and sets its own fees for non NHS work. The level of fees charged is based on the actual work required (with concentration of time and responsibility involved). Our reception staff will be happy to advise you about charges, these are normally available in advance. Examples include the following:
- Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV, private hire/taxi licence etc.
- Letters and statements requested by patients for purposes other than healthcare under National Health Service
- Insurance claim forms
- Passport signing (for non UK passports)
- Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
- Private sick notes
- Vaccination certificates
